Awards

In May of 2009, the Sociable Table was on display at RIT's campus-wide event, "Imagine RIT: Innovation and Creativity Festival." The festival showcases the innovative and creative spirit of the RIT community. Team Sociable received one out of four $1,000 prizes that were to be given to the most creative exhibit's at the festival. We also received the

Marge Ruffing Memorial Award, a prize given to the exhibit that displays what RIT is all about — meshing the left and right sides of the brain, including the hospitality aspect of the exhibit. In addition to the awards we received from RIT, Team Sociable also had the honor of being a finalist for the Adobe Design Achievement Awards, for the non-browser based category, and was presented on at the 2009 Adobe Max Awards.
